I live in Sheffield in a little house on a little street full of very cool shops. There is a barbershop in the front room. It's not mine. My blog is named after Funnybones. I like reading books, restoring old furniture, cooking, taking photographs, old things that are beautiful and gin.

As well as crumpets, Yorkshire brack, homemade parkin, cucumber and Yorkshire potted beef sandwiches, we had gin cocktails with a twist:
- 2 parts Gin
- Chilled Earl Gray Tea
- Squeeze of lemon
- Spoonful of sugar
(served in teacups)
Yorkshire Blossom
- 2 parts Gin
- 2 parts Yorkshire Tea syrup
- dash of bitters
- Squeeze of orange
- topped up with Prosecco
(served in a champagne flute)
