Love pottering Saturdays. Decided to cook today whilst listening to Radio 4. And I made:
Really seedy fruity flapjills
Gorgeous energy boosting and sugar rush flapjack for my girl who never gets time to eat lunch. Adapted from various recipes:
- 140g butter
- 140g muscovado sugar
- 1/2 cup golden syrup
- 250g oats
- 100g mixed seeds inc sunflower, pumpkin, linseed, sesame seeds
- 75g dried apricots 75g mixed nuts and cranberries
- 75g mixed raisins
- Melt all things that meltĀ
- Chop fruit and nuts a bitĀ
- Stir oats and nuts into sugary buttery meltiness
- Put in a tin in the oven at gas mark 5 for about 20mins or until golden brown
- Cut in tin when it’s still hot and leave to cool
Will keep for ages in airtight container and hopefully keep you going when you’re busy and starving.
